DAY 01

Arrival and Transfer from Airport to Kandalama / Sigiriya. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kanadalama / Sigiriya .

DAY 02

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, which is a world heritage site built in 477-495 AD.
The ‘ Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle.
Visit the world renowned Frescoes of the ‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya
Afternoon Transfer to Polonnaruwa
Polannaruwa , which is the 2nd Capital City of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th Centuries AD, Another World Heritage.
Here you can see the ruins of the famous Gal Viharaya,The Royal Palace, Shiva Temple and many more
Overnight at the hotel in Kandalama / Sigiriya .

DAY 03

Breakfast at hotel
Transfer to Dambulla,visit Dambulla Rock Temple built in the 1st Century B.C.It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 200sq meters of painted walls and ceilings are the largest area of paintings found in the world . It contains over 150 images of of Buddha of which the largest Colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of a rock and spanning 14 metres.
Transfer from Dambulla to Kandy via Matale visiting a spice garden.
Kandy was the last capitol of the Sri Lankan kings, which is also a World Heritage site. Visit the Kandy town , The Bazaar, arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth relic. Evening witness a Cultural Show. Overnight at the hotel in Kandy

DAY 04

Breakfast at hotel
Transfer to Pinnawala, The Elephant Orphanage. Here you get the opportunity to see elephants of varied ages You get the opportunity to feed them or watch them bath in the river near by.
Transfer to Colombo.
Overnight at the hotel in Colombo.

DAY 05

Breakfast at the hotel
Transfer to Airport or to the Beach Resort.
