THREE DAY EXCURSIONS
1. Cultural Tour
Day 01 : Leave in the morning for Pinnawala to visit the Elephant Orphanage. Lunch at Hotel Diyadahara, Kurunegala. Thereafter leave for Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya Rock fortress. Dinner and overnight stay at the Kandalama hotel
Day 02 : After breakfast visit Polonnaruwa. Lunch at Giritale Hotel, Giritale. After lunch leave for Kandy enroute visiting a Spice Garden in Matale. In the evening witness a display of Kandyan dancers. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Earls Regency.
Day 03: After breakfast visit Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, Temple of the Tooth and continue the city tour of Kandy. On completion, proceed to Shalika Inn, Kegalle for lunch. Enroute visiting the Tea Factory/Plantation at Giragama After lunch leave for the respective beach hotel.
2. Colombo / Kandy / Numwara Eliya
Day 01 : After breakfast leave for Colombo and visit the Bandaranaike International Memorial Hall, Town Hall and the Gangaramaya Temple. Lunch at Colombo Hilton. After lunch, do a city tour of Colombo including a visit to a Hindu temple, Paradise Road and Odel for shopping. Then, walk around the city of Colombo. Dinner and overnight stay at Colombo Hilton.
Day 02 : After early breakfast, around 0700 hours leave for Pinnawala and visit the Elephant Orphanage where clients could witness elephant feeding and bathing. Thereafter proceed to the Rambukkana Railway Station to board the train leaving at 1100 hours to Kadugannawa. From Kadugannawa, proceed to Kandy by coach. In Kandy, visit the Botanical Gardens and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the evening witness a cultural show. Dinner and overnight stay at Earl's Regency Hotel, Kandy.
Day 03 : After breakfast do a city tour of Kandy including visits to the Kandy Market amd upper lake drive.. Thereafter leave for Nuwara Eliya enroute visiting a tea plantation and a factory. Lunch at St. Andrew's Hotel, Nuwara Eliya. After lunch, leave for respective beach hotels via Hatton and Talawekele. Enroute stop at Kitulgala where the film "Brige on the River Kwai" was filmed.
